Home > Our expertise in industrial electricity and automation for waste-to-energy plants proves its worth: a new contract in the environment market
As an expert in industrial electricity and automation in theenvironmental market, particularly for Energy Recovery Units (UVE), we have just won a new contract to work on the Chaumont UVE.
Waste-to-energy plants (UVE) are specialized facilities for the treatment of waste by incineration to produce energy. They have many requirements in terms ofautomation, electricity andinstrumentation, to ensure the smooth running of these facilities.
1/ Industrial automation
2/ Industrial electricity
3/ Instrumentation
We have been working with UVEs for several years now on various processes such as boilers, flue gas treatment, conveyorsystems…
1/ Industrial automation
2/ In industrial electricity
Our clients call on us for our mastery of UVE processes and our degree of expertise in industrial automation and electricity.
We’ll be providing a number of industrial automation and electrical services as part of the project to recover energy from the flue gases of the 2 incineration lines at the Chaumont waste-to-energy plant.
We will be programming and configuring the PLC and HMI, supplying the power and control cabinet, routing and pulling the cables, making the various connections and grounding, managing the installation, carrying out the various tests and commissioning the equipment.
We thus offer our customer Hitachi a complete automation and industrial electrical solution, enabling them to have a single point of contact responsible for the entire project, from design to commissioning.
This project to recover energy from the flue gases of the plant’s 2 incineration lines not only generates renewable electricity, but also reduces the plant’s energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
This type of process is an important practice in the context of sustainable waste management and the transition to a circular,environmentally-friendly economy.
We’d like to express our gratitude to our loyal customer Hitachi Zosen Inova for their confidence in awarding us this challenging and technical project: management of the electrical-automation turnkey package as part of the project to recover energy from the flue gases of the 2 incineration lines at the Unité de Valorisation Energétique de Chaumont (SHMVD), a site operated by Veolia France.
We’ll be back with more details on the scope as the project progresses, so stay tuned!
