ABOUT THE PROJECT

For any company, optimizing manufacturing processes is an essential strategic step in guaranteeing the competitiveness of its production plant.

As part of a boiler revamping project on a dual-fuel oil platform (fuel oil and gas), our automation specialist for this type of process was called in to perform a Functional Reverse Analysis.

This functional analysis was carried out by retroengineering from France on two of the level 2 boilers (HTA) on the offshore site, based on the program supplied.

OUR SCOPE

Our scope included managing the project, carrying out the studies and supplying the documents in computerized form.

Based on the existing program, we created a control-command architecture with the complete PLC configuration and wrote the literal functional analysis.
