Home > Refurbishment of an immersive 3D simulator for MSE bridge operators in aluminium plant, new business
We have just won a #newbusiness in the Aluminium market and more specifically in the field of Electrolysis Service Machines in aluminium production plants.
Machines Service Electrolyse (or Pot Tending Machines) are processes used in aluminium production plants. They are part of the foundries where aluminium is produced from alumina.
These processes are complex and follow a precise path
They automate and rationalise the operations required in aluminium production pots, improving the efficiency and safety of the process.
The Machine Service Electrolysis (or Pot Tending Machine) process requires a number of precautions and authorisations.
Immersive training for future operators offers a number of advantages
The ability to familiarise oneself virtually with the operation of the installations and how they are run is a real asset. This facilitates access to real machines and improves operator efficiency. Indeed, these machines can be very impressive for newcomers.
We will be undertaking the renovation of a training simulator created over 15 years ago.
This simulator will be installed in an aluminium production plant in Australia, which has several types of machinery.
As we are constantly on the lookout for new technologies, we will be using the latest VR technologies and advanced rendering engines. As a result, this new MSE crane driving simulator will offer a smoother, more comfortable user experience.
We would like to thank our loyal customer Fives ECL for renewing its confidence in us by awarding us this new contract.
