IESA has developped a tool for ski stations called RM Eco Energies !
This software plateform allows to visualize the energy consumption of all installations from the data sent back in real time. It also enables data to be compared with previous data for the same periods for year-by-year analysis.
Thanks to a 3D Supervision you can visualize the whole ski area.
RM Eco Energie has recently been labeled Innov’R by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, which supports eco-innovative projects.
Aware that their exceptional natural setting is their main attraction, mountain resorts have been committed for several years to a sustainable development approach in order to reconcile tourism and the environment. (Cf. DSF Eco-engagement)
This eco-responsible approach is particularly evident in the improvement of energy performance throughout the resort. Electricity is an important part of the energy mix in ski resorts and a good knowledge of this consumption allows to obtain quick results. Initially and in the very short term, the objective of the RM Eco-Energy system is a real reduction in the electricity consumption of the equipped ski area.
With many achievements in the field of ski lifts and solid experience in automated energy management in the industry, we are committed to meeting the needs expressed by operators. We offer them an innovative solution to efficiently manage their energy consumption, reduce their environmental impact and be in line with consumers’ expectations to become true “eco-resorts”.
In the near future, RM Eco-Energy should enable ski areas to become “intelligent resorts”, thanks to the implementation of energy management models based on artificial intelligence (reduction of ski lift speed, snow plant load shedding, etc).
